Strawberry Soup

Strawberry soup is a fruity chilled desert that is sweet and smooth. On a hot steamy summer night, serve this sweet treat to your black king in  sexy lingerie.

Ingredients

3 pints hulled, fresh strawberries
1/2 cured wine or fruit liqueur
1/2 cup sugar with wine 1/4 with liqueur (a creative twist)
1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger or 1/2 teaspoon powdered
1/2 cup heavy cream (if you want it really creamy use 1 cup)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
1-2 tablespoon raspberry vinegar or white wine vinegar
sliced fresh strawberries for garnish

In a 1 quart sauce pan, bring wine, sugar, and ginger to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 5 min. Add heavy cream and return to boil. Cook for 1 min and stir constantly. Remove the pan from the heat. In a blender or food processor, mix strawberries and puree. Add cream mixture from other pot and blend until the mixture is well blended. Pour into an air tight container and refrigerate until fully chilled.
