Rose Cake
We all know that roses are a symbol of love and
affection. we give our significant others a dozen roses for birthdays, valentine's
day, or if you fucked up you give a rose as a gift of apology.
The fragrance of a rose lifts the spirits and opens
the heart and is strong significance of love affection and beauty.
Roses are used in other cultures in the Middle East.
Turkish delight, puddings and cakes are fragranced with rose water. In Christian
mythology the rose is all powerful a symbol of love. White roses are a symbol
of purity and yellow roses are a symbol of friendship.
In India roses are used to increase libido, semen
production, and fertility. Hence, roses are prescribed for gynecological issues
including heavy periods, endometriosis, irregular periods, and fibroids, and
calms depression anxiety and headaches.
Rose cake
beat until creamy
1/2 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 tablespoon dark corn syrup
4 tablespoon melted butter
1/2 cup light brown sugar
stir in
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon rose water
1 cup all purpose flour
dissolve 1/2 teaspoon baking soda in 1 tablespoon
boiling water once the baking soda has dissolved, stir into the cake batter. Pour
the mixture into two floured 8 inch pans
bake at 350 for 30 minutes until done
cool before removing cakes
sandwich the two cakes with the rose filling drizzle
icing over top.
Rose filling
blend until creamy
handful of chopped rose petals
4 oz butter softened
3.5 oz confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Rose icing
slowly add 2-3 tablespoon rose water to 1 cup
confectioners sugar beat until thick and creamy
