Borojo Fruit

The borojo fruit is found in the tropics of south america. Brojo has been used to regulate blood pressure, fight bronchial infections, regulate blood sugar, and increase sexual potency. In the amazon region, borojo is used to prepare "the love juice" "jugo del amor." In addition, the borojo fruit is used as in ingredient in wine, candies, and marmalades. Some natives eat the fruit raw. Borojo fruit is high in amino acids, dietary fiber minerals, and vitamin B.

Borojo Super fruit Smoothie


  1. 2 bananas (frozen and cut into pieces is best
  2. 1 cup frozen blueberries
  3. 10-12 frozen strawberries
  4. 1 bottle Blueberry Acai Pomegranate borojo™
  5. ½ cup vanilla yogurt (optional)
Add all ingredients to blender, blend at high speed until perfectly smooth. Add ice cubes as necessary to thin the mixture.

Borojo Alcoholic drinks

Bojito

  1. 1 1/4 oz rum
  2. 12 mint leaves
  3. 6 oz Strawberry Kiwi Watermelon borojo™
  4. 2 oz soda
  5. ¼ fresh lime (for garnish
Smash 8-10 mint leaves in bottom of glass with fork or tip of spoon. Add crushed ice and borojo™; muddle. Add soda water and a squeeze of fresh lime juice. Garnish with remaining mint leaves.

BorojoRita


  1. 1 oz tequila
  2. 1 oz triple sec
  3. 2 oz lime juice
  4. ½ cup Pink Guava Passionfruit borojo™
Rim cocktail glass with lime juice, and dip in salt. Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into the glass, and serve.

Borojo Blue Martini

  1. 1.5 oz blueberry flavored vodka
  2. 2 oz of Blueberry Acai Pomegranate borojo™
  3. 1 oz of tonic or soda
  4. Squeeze of lime
Shake all ingredients and strain into a chilled martini glass, Garnish with three frozen blueberries.
